Application fields
- Printing and dyeing industry
The surface hydrophilicity of the fabric can be improved by the pretreatment of cationic cyclodextrin in the textile printing and dyeing, and the special structure of the outer wall and cavity hydrophobic of cyclodextrin can be used. In addition, the unique cavity structure of cyclodextrin can wrap pigment ink, improve the precision and color brightness of printing and dyeing effectively. Meanwhile, it can be used for the development of functional textiles such as anti-virus, deodorization and aroma release by using its cavity characteristics and positive charge of cation itself.
- Medical field
The application of preservatives and osmotic enhancers in the preparation of anti infection. It can be used as a carrier with biological activity or potential to protect the cell anti-oxidation stress.
- Paper industry
Cationic cyclodextrin can be used as retention aid and filter aid in papermaking industry. It can remove the soluble colloid material produced in the paper making process and solidify it.
